Join us for February’s seminar, where Dr. Dolinoy will discuss how early-life exposure to environmental toxicants influences long-term health through epigenetic mechanisms. She will also share new research uncovering PIWIL gene activity in somatic tissues and its potential for developing targeted epigenome editing tools to treat environmental and genetic diseases.

Dr. Dana Dolinoy is the NSF International Chair of Environmental Health Sciences and Professor at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, where she directs the M-LEEaD Center and leads the Environmental Epigenetics and Nutrition Laboratory. A leader in environmental epigenetics, she has authored over 175 scientific papers, co-edited ToxicoEpigenetics: Core Principles and Applications, and received major honors including the NIH Director’s Transformative Award and the Society of Toxicology’s Leading Edge in Basic Sciences Award.
