SCEHSC is partnering with the world-renowned USC Information Sciences Institute and its recently created Center on AI Research for Health (AI4Health). AI4Health includes expert AI and data science researchers that work in areas relevant for the Center (notably causal learning, knowledge graphs, computer vision, social network analysis, generative AI and foundation models, and algorithmic bias), and has ongoing projects in AI for environmental sciences and extreme weather.
Recent Highlights
• AI4Health and EHS investigators prior collaborations in diverse topics such as: NIBIB coordinating center (NIEHS-funded PRISMS) for scalable data integration and analysis of environmental data for pediatric asthma;211
• AI for EH working group on external exposome: Knowledge Informed Deep Learning, 3D Modeling, and GeoAI analysis of remote sensing, large scale mobility data, PM2.5 and wildfire smoke.
• Program project (PO1CA196569; MPI Gauderman) on statistical methods for integrative genomics, supporting AI for multi-omics, exposomics, and functional databases.
• Center New Investigator Dr. Goodrich pilot project: Knowledge graphs and AI-based network analyses integrating multi-layer in vitro and animal scRNAseq and human data (an inter-centercollaboration)
